Kyoto Animation has unveiled a trailer for Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 2, confirming its Japanese release date of September 11. This film marks the conclusion of the two-part theatrical project, with the first part, Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 1, opening today in 201 theaters across Japan.

The newly released trailer offers a glimpse into the film's content, including a scene depicting Kumiko Oumae assuming the significant responsibility of club president. The music for the film is provided by TRUE, who performs the theme song "ToCoda," continuing her long-standing association with the franchise's music, having contributed to previous seasons and films.

Directed by Taichi Ogawa with Tatsuya Ishihara serving as chief director, the film project aims to bring the decade-long anime series to a definitive close. The series, which began in 2015, has followed the concert band activities of high school students, with the latest season and films adapting Kumiko's final year. As one of Kyoto Animation's most celebrated series, the final film's release carries considerable weight for long-time fans.
