Dropout Idol Fruit Tart, the manga by Sou Hamayumiba, is set to conclude its serialization in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine. The announcement, made via the magazine's official X account, states the manga will wrap up in three more chapters.

The final installment will appear in the September issue of Manga Time Kirara Carat, scheduled for release in July. To mark the occasion, the magazine plans to include a special feature with reader-submitted messages.

The story follows Ino Sakura, who moves to Tokyo to become an idol. She joins forces with fellow residents of Nezumi Dorm—former child actor Roko, musician HAYU, and model Nina—to form the idol unit Fruit Tart. Their goal is to save their dorm from demolition by making it in the entertainment industry.

Originally debuting as a one-shot in 2014, Dropout Idol Fruit Tart began its regular serialization in 2015. The series received an anime adaptation in 2020, which was streamed internationally by Funimation. Hamayumiba is also known for the Hanayamata manga, which ran from 2011 to 2018 and also received a 2014 anime adaptation.
