The surreal comedy Jukebox has officially concluded. Author Soborou brought the series to a close with the publication of the final installment on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket platform on August 1. Readers looking to complete their collection can pick up the third and final compiled volume when it hits shelves on September 16.
Centered on the chaotic daily lives of a unique group of tenants, the story explores the dynamics between the inhabitants of the Jukebox dormitory. The cast includes an eclectic mix of characters, ranging from an angel and a demon to a wizard and his apprentice, alongside an amateur manga artist and a genius painter from the Edo period.
Soborou, perhaps best known for the provocative series Why the hell are you here, Teacher!?, launched this latest project in August 2025. Following the conclusion of their collaboration with Shigemitsu Harada on the Love and Peace manga in 2023, Soborou maintained a steady output with this dormitory-focused title, which saw its second volume released by Kodansha earlier this May.
