During its LEVEL5 VISION 2026 Craftsmanship stream, Level 5 revealed a remake of its dungeon crawler, The Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold (originally The Snack World: Trejarers). Titled The Snack World: Reloaded, the new version is slated for release on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
A trailer showcased during the event highlighted the game's development and featured the song "DayonaJimi Naru Jinsei". The remake promises updated graphics, refined gameplay and controls, and introduces a new mode centered around the anime's protagonist, Chup.
The original The Snack World: Trejarers first launched for Nintendo 3DS in Japan in August 2017. A subsequent version, The Snack World: Trejarers Gold, arrived on Switch in April 2018 with graphical enhancements and a revamped battle system, including content from the 3DS version's two DLC packs. The game later received an English release on Switch in February 2020 as Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold.
The franchise also spawned a 50-episode anime series animated by OLM Digital, Inc., which premiered in Japan in April 2017. Crunchyroll currently streams 27 English-dubbed episodes of the anime.
