This adaptation of Jinushi’s seinen manga brings the unique "iyashikei" workplace romance to the screen with a focus on the quiet, healing connection between an exhausted salaryman and a supermarket clerk. While the series explores the mundane struggles of corporate life, it has gained a dedicated following for its gentle tone and character-driven narrative. The original manga previously earned recognition at the 16th Manga Taisho awards, signaling high interest in this adaptation.
