A new promotional video and visual for the second season of Skeleton Knight in Another World have been released, offering a glimpse at new cast members. The video reveals Mitsuo Iwata as Charos, Kento Hama as Ein, and Hiroshi Naka as Hanzō, joining the previously announced cast.
The series is set to debut on July 4 on AT-X in Japan, with simultaneous streaming on d Anime Store and ABEMA. Subsequent broadcasts will air on Tokyo MX and BS11 starting July 9. Crunchyroll has confirmed it will stream the new season for international audiences.
Returning to handle animation is Aura Studio, with Katsumi Ono directing. While Toshizo Nemoto takes over series script duties from Takeshi Kikuchi, several key staff members, including character designer Tōru Imanishi and sound director Satoshi Motoyama, are back. PelleK will perform the opening theme song "Rōman Kaidō, Osanpo Chū," while the unit DIALOGUE+ will perform the ending theme "Kiseki wa Okinai."
The first season of the fantasy isekai anime premiered in April 2022. The story follows Arc, a gamer who finds himself transported into his avatar—a skeleton knight—in a new world. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes both the light novel and manga adaptations in English.
