The Sirotan television anime, based on the long-running seal mascot created by Creative Yoko, is officially set to debut on October 3. The series will air during the newly established "PicoAni" short-form programming block on TV Asahi, with the premiere scheduled for 4:29 p.m. JST.
Leading the voice cast is Aoi Yūki, who reprises her role as the titular white seal after previously voicing the character in short animations on the official Sirotan TV YouTube channel. She is joined by Miyu Hanasaki as Rakkoinu, Rina Hidaka as Sheru, and Riyo Iwai as Ramune. The production is helmed by director Arisa Okada at studio Lesprit, with series composition and scripts managed by Sei Yoshitsuki.
Behind the scenes, the project features a dedicated production team including assistant director Atsuko Yamamoto and music composer Shōta Kowashi. The series is a collaborative production between TV Asahi and Shinei Animation, marking a significant expansion for the character, which has been a staple of Japanese merchandise since its debut in 1999.
