Matsuri Isora, the creator behind the popular Secrets of the Silent Witch series, has announced a brand-new project. Titled Bōkyaku no Curse Knight (Curse Knight of Oblivion), the upcoming novel is scheduled to hit shelves on November 13. The project features character designs and illustrations by Shirotaka, who is widely recognized for their work on the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novels.
According to listings from the online retailer e-hon, the story follows a determined protagonist navigating a world where he possesses an incredibly potent, hidden curse. The narrative is framed as a traditional yet refreshing knight fantasy, focusing on the boy's relentless efforts to rise as a hero against overwhelming odds.
This new venture follows the significant success of Isora’s previous work, Secrets of the Silent Witch, which has expanded into a multi-media franchise including a prequel series, two separate manga adaptations, and a television anime that premiered in July 2025. While the Silent Witch series remains a staple of the fantasy genre, this upcoming release marks a shift toward a more classic knight-centric premise for the author.
