During the Gamescom Opening Night Live event, Konami provided a significant update on the upcoming psychological horror title Silent Hill: Townfall. A newly released trailer confirmed the game's English voice cast, featuring Jovan Adepo as Simon, Kezia Burrows as Zoe, and veteran actor Terry O'Quinn as Richard. The title is slated for a September 24 release across PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
Developed as a collaboration between Screen Burn—formerly known as No Code—and Annapurna Interactive, the game promises a self-contained narrative experience. Players will navigate the fog-drenched island of St. Amelia from a first-person perspective, utilizing a unique device called the CRTV to interpret unstable signals. The gameplay loop emphasizes a mix of tense evasion, frantic combat, and puzzle-solving, all set against the bleak backdrop of 1996 Scotland.
This project is part of Konami’s broader revival of the franchise, which has seen several releases since the studio announced its multi-title roadmap in 2022. Following the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake and Silent Hill f, which surpassed 2 million units in shipments, Townfall stands as a distinct, standalone entry. With Bloober Team also confirmed to be working on a new, separate project utilizing a Konami IP, the publisher continues to aggressively expand the series' footprint across modern platforms.
