Silent Hill f, the latest spinoff game, has surpassed 2 million copies sold worldwide as of April 22, encompassing both digital and physical sales. The game, which launched on September 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, had previously achieved over 1 million units in worldwide shipments just one day after its release.
Further bolstering the franchise's performance, the Silent Hill 2 Remake has now reached a total of 6 million units sold worldwide as of April 24. This cumulative figure includes units shipped, digital downloads, and sales via subscription services. Developed by Bloober Team, the remake arrived in October 2024 for PS5 and PC via Steam.
Silent Hill f boasts a story written by Ryukishi07, known for Higurashi: When They Cry, with creature and character designs by kera. Motoi Okamoto produced the title, which was developed by Neobards Entertainment. While the game has seen commercial success, its planned physical soundtrack releases were canceled in October due to unspecified circumstances. Additionally, Silent Hill f has inspired a manga adaptation that launched on April 22, featuring an exclusive new ending written by Ryukishi07.
