The Silent Hill f universe is expanding to print, with a new manga adaptation centered on the game's iconic Fox Mask character. Announced via Weekly Famitsu, the project is scheduled to debut in the magazine in late 2026. The narrative will be split into two distinct parts, with the opening arc dedicated to exploring the origins of the masked figure.
Creative oversight for the manga is being handled by the game's original writer, Ryukishi07—best known for the Higurashi: When They Cry series—in collaboration with Konami. The visual adaptation of this story will be illustrated by artist Ayato. This project follows the recent launch of the main game, which hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in September 2025 and quickly surpassed one million units in worldwide shipments.
This marks the second manga-related expansion for the title, following the adaptation by Ame Gōkin that debuted on Kadokawa's Young Ace Up platform earlier in 2026. With the franchise also preparing for the release of Silent Hill: Townfall on consoles and PC, the expansion of the Silent Hill f lore through this new manga suggests a continued focus on building out the narrative history of its specific characters. Given the involvement of Ryukishi07, it remains to be seen how deeply the manga will tie into the game's broader mystery.
