The upcoming television anime adaptation of Shuiro no Kamen (The Vermilion Mask) has confirmed its broadcast debut for October 10, with a new promotional video offering a first look at the series' theme songs. The action fantasy, based on the manga by Dr.Poro and Nabana Naba, will air on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV.

Alongside the premiere date, the production team announced several key additions to the cast. Kenji Nojima will voice Hien, joined by Aoi Koga as Lasgarl, Yuuki Shin as Clown, Akihisa Wakayama as Rinne, Aya Endou as The Mask of Necromancy, and Yui Horie as Master. These performers join a production staff led by director Tetsuaki Watanabe at 100studio, with series composition by Daisuke Oohigashi and character designs by Hisashi Higashijima.

The newly released second promotional video highlights the series' musical identity, featuring the opening theme "Firestarter" by rock band MAN WITH A MISSION and the ending theme "Koe" by yutori. The technical team has also expanded to include specialized roles such as mask and creature designer Yoshiki Kuga and CG director Kanji Ooshima, rounding out the staff responsible for bringing the manga's distinct fantasy aesthetic to the screen.

While the series is a new entry for the fall season, the source material has been running in Young King OURs since February 2021, with nine collected volumes currently in print. With the premiere date now locked, it remains to be seen how the series will adapt the manga's established world-building across its debut cour.
