Digital production house Plott is set to transition from its YouTube-centric model to the broadcast television market starting next year. The studio announced plans to air three distinct short anime series on terrestrial Japanese television, marking a significant shift for a company that has built its reputation on viral web-based content.

While specific titles remain under wraps, Plott confirmed it will oversee the entire lifecycle of these projects, including planning, production, licensing, and merchandising. This move follows a period of massive digital growth for the studio, which currently reports over 24 billion total views and 14 million subscribers across its various YouTube channels. Recent web projects from the studio include the Bandai Namco collaboration Tengu Tōsen and the September release Rakuraku Hanten.

Plott first gained industry recognition for its short-form adaptations of manga series such as Teikō Penguin and Konketsu no Karekore. By moving to over-the-air television, the studio aims to leverage its experience in high-frequency content production to reach a broader broadcast audience. Further details regarding the premiere dates and specific series titles are expected to follow in the coming months.
