The editorial department at Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ announced on Wednesday that it has officially ended its outsourcing agreement with Mix Green, the company founded by former Shueisha editor Shihei Lin. While the partnership has concluded, the platform confirmed that all ongoing titles previously managed by Lin under this arrangement will continue their serialization under a new internal editorial structure.

Shihei Lin, who served as an editor at Shueisha from 2006 until his departure in August 2022, clarified his position shortly after the announcement. Through his personal social media, Lin stated that Mix Green maintains direct contracts for four specific titles: SPY×FAMILY, Dandadan, Centuria, and WITCHRIV. Consequently, he will continue to oversee editorial duties for these works independently of Shonen Jump+.

This shift follows the launch of Lin's own manga submission platform earlier this year in April. Given that Lin was a key figure in the development of major hits like Chainsaw Man, the transition of these high-profile series to a new editorial framework marks a notable change in the production landscape for Shueisha's digital division. It remains to be seen how the internal restructuring will impact the production workflow for the remaining Jump+ titles previously under his purview.
