The television anime adaptation of Kazami Sawatari's romantic comedy light novel, The Salt-God Satou-san Is Only Sweet To Me!, is slated to premiere in October 2026. The production revealed new cast members and a character promotional video on Friday.
Miyu Tomita will voice Rinka Sudo, Chiaki Kobayashi is set as Ren Misono, and Yoshino Aoyama will portray Shizuku Misono. The cast also includes Hisako Kanemoto as Mayo Nezu, Yasunori Matsumoto as Seizaemon Oshio, and Yuuki Wakai as Maruka Murasaki.
Directed by Fumihiro Yoshimura at Tezuka Productions, the series features character designs by Daisuke Okushima and music by Shun Narita. Takashi Aoshima is handling the series composition.
The original light novel began serialization online in 2019 before being published by Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation by Kaya Tetsuyama has also been serialized since 2020 and is published in English by Comikey.
