The high-stakes tennis action continues this fall with Shin Tennis no Oujisama: U-17 World Cup Kesshou Member Ketteisen. The series, which serves as a direct follow-up to the U-17 World Cup Semifinal arc, is set to hit Japanese airwaves on October 1. A newly released promotional video offers fans a first look at the upcoming competition, while also previewing the opening theme song, "Walls And Bridges," performed by the music group Aosu.

Alongside the trailer, the production team announced several new additions to the cast. Tasuku Hatanaka will voice Julio Roman, joined by Reiji Kawashima as Mars de Colon, Ryuuho Nagaoka as Silva Serra Banbieri, and Megumi Han as Sedah. The ending theme, "Kinkanshoku phenomenal," will feature the vocal talents of franchise veterans Junichi Suwabe and Hidenobu Kiuchi.

Behind the scenes, director Yoshinobu Tokumoto returns to lead production at animation studio M.S.C. While much of the core team remains intact—including series composer Mitsutaka Hirota and character designer Akiharu Ishii—the art department sees a refresh with Kenichi Tajiri and Akane Ichinose stepping in as art directors. The technical staff has also expanded to include ARTE MUKUO and Norifumi Hirakawa, who will oversee background and CG direction, respectively.

This release arrives as the franchise nears a major milestone, with the 48th and final volume of the sequel manga scheduled for publication on September 4. As the series transitions from the U-17 World Cup Semifinal into these decisive matches, the production maintains the momentum that has kept the Prince of Tennis franchise a staple of the sports genre for over two decades.
