Arc System Works has unveiled the high-energy opening sequence for Demons' Night Fever, the latest project from Disgaea architect Sōhei Niikawa and his new studio, SuperNiche. The video highlights the game's chaotic aesthetic, set to the driving rhythm of the opening theme, "Dropout," performed by artist syudou.
Described as a "Raising Speedrunning Simulation RPG," the game follows the unlikely alliance between Giga Super Death—a powerful devil reduced to infancy—and Killshiro Katanaka, a cynical human. The narrative centers on a bizarre pact formed to navigate the fallout of a failed attempt to kill God. Players can expect a unique gameplay loop where death serves as a catalyst for strength, fitting the title's frenetic premise.
The project boasts a veteran production team, including composer Tatsuya Yano, known for his work on the Atelier series, and character designer Yuji Himukai. The voice cast features Yūya Hirose as Killshiro, Kaori Mizuhashi as Giga Super Death, Sayumi Suzushiro as Mary Haley, and Nobuyuki Hiyama as God.
This title marks a major milestone for Niikawa, who founded SuperNiche in 2025 following his departure from Nippon Ichi Software, where he served as president and CEO for over a decade. Demons' Night Fever launches on October 22 across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC.
