Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Wednesday the acquisition of licenses for ten new manga titles. Among the newly licensed works is Record of Chrono's War: Apparently I'm Only the Strongest in Bed, a manga adaptation of Ayumu Saito's isekai light novel series. Illustrated by Yumi Shirase, this title is slated for release in January 2027 under Seven Seas' Ghost Ship imprint.
The story follows Chrono Crawford, a young man transported to another world during his high school entrance exams. Now a lord and general, he commands an army of demihumans and strives for equality in a world rife with discrimination. His mission takes a personal turn with the appearance of a half-elf girl confessing her love, forcing him to navigate romantic entanglements in this new fantasy realm.
Additionally, Seven Seas has licensed The Dangers in My Heart: The Short Story manga. This series serves as a spinoff to the acclaimed romance, The Dangers in My Heart, which has garnered significant attention and holds a 7.66 score on MyAnimeList from over 22,000 voters. The spinoff is based on a series of shorts originally posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Seven Seas did not specify release dates for the other eight licensed titles, but the acquisitions highlight the publisher's continued expansion into various genres within the manga market. Source: Anime News Network
