Seven Seas Entertainment has expanded its publishing catalog with the announcement of seven new manga licenses. Leading the new acquisitions is Wandmaker of the Ruined World (Hōkai Sekai no Mahōzue Shokunin), which is slated for its first volume release in May 2027.

Adapted by artist Nori Kazato, the series is based on the light novel by author Hagane Kurodome and illustrator Kayahara. The narrative follows Ori Kenshi, an isolated mechanical genius living in the mountains of Okutama. When a mysterious global blackout destroys the world's electrical infrastructure, Kenshi’s quiet life is upended by the crash of a meteor into his workshop. Upon crafting the space debris into a wand, he discovers that the same meteors responsible for the power outage have introduced magic into the world.

As society crumbles, the story tracks Kenshi’s transition from a reclusive inventor to a reluctant survivor. Forced out of his workshop, he must utilize his unique talents to navigate a landscape where advanced technology has been rendered obsolete by the sudden emergence of magical forces.
