The upcoming anime adaptation of Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita: Watashi dake "Kouryaku Site" wo Mireru Sekai de Jiyuu ni Ikimasu has expanded its voice cast ahead of its autumn debut. The production team confirmed that Kana Hanazawa will voice Aries, while Maria Naganawa has been cast as Lulu. This announcement was accompanied by the release of a second character-focused promotional video, offering fans a fresh look at the series' animation style.
Directed by Jouji Furuta, known for his work on Shaman King (2021), the project is currently in production at studios Bridge and Aisle. The series composition is being handled by Shouji Yonemura, with character designs provided by Yuuki Morimoto. The anime is slated to hit airwaves on October 7 at 10:00 p.m. via Tokyo MX, with subsequent broadcasts scheduled for BS11 and TV Aichi starting October 8.
The series, which originated as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou and Kakuyomu in 2022, has quickly expanded into a multimedia franchise. Square Enix currently publishes the light novel series with illustrations by riritto, while Tamaki Toga manages the ongoing manga adaptation. For international audiences, Yen Press has secured the rights to the light novel, with the third English volume expected to release this November.
