The upcoming anime adaptation of Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita: Watashi dake "Kouryaku Site" wo Mireru Sekai de Jiyuu ni Ikimasu is gearing up for its fall debut. A newly released promotional video offers the first look at the series, showcasing the animation style and previewing both the opening and ending theme songs. The show is confirmed to hit airwaves on October 7 at 10:00 p.m. via Tokyo MX, with subsequent broadcasts on BS11, TV Aichi, and MBS.
Joining the production is Yuuto Uemura, known for his work in Bungou Stray Dogs, who will voice the character Reinhardt Highwind. The creative team is helmed by director Jouji Furuta, recognized for Shaman King (2021), with series composition handled by Shouji Yonemura. The visual and audio landscape is being shaped by a veteran staff, including art director Asuka Komiyama and music composers Alisa Okehazama and Ryoshi Takagi.
Musical contributions for the series are high-profile, with HoneyWorks performing the opening track, "Eikyouryoku∞Idol feat. HaKoniwalily," and the group Rokudenashi providing the ending theme, "Hoshi wo Meguru." These tracks underscore the production's ambition to bring the fantasy world of Mochimaru Sakaki’s original web novel to life.
Originating on the Shousetsuka ni Narou and Kakuyomu platforms in 2022, the series has rapidly expanded into a multimedia franchise. With a successful light novel run published by Square Enix and an ongoing manga adaptation by Tamaki Toga, the series has already gained international traction, with Yen Press currently handling the English-language light novel releases.
