The anime adaptation of Maro Muchi’s school comedy Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! is set to debut on October 4 at 12:30 a.m. across Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV. To build anticipation, the production team released the first promotional video, which provides a look at the series' animation style and previews the opening theme, 'Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkyanai!' performed by Sangatsu no Phantasia.

Studio Passione is spearheading the project with director Naoyuki Tatsuwa, known for Nisekoi, at the helm. The script and series composition are being handled by Masahiro Yokotani, while Ryou Imamura serves as the character designer. The production also features a notable team of industry veterans, including Bocchi the Rock! composer Tomoki Kikuya and sound director Satoshi Motoyama. The animation department is further bolstered by main animators such as Kay Yu and Ame Sanzashi.

The voice cast includes Miyu Tomita as Komaro Michinoku, Hiyori Kouno as Tan Otori, and Haruka Shiraishi as Hisako Kotobuki, among others. The series, which began serialization in Weekly Shounen Magazine in 2022, has already established a strong reputation, winning the top spot in the Print category at the 9th Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taisho in 2023.

With 13 volumes currently available in Japan, the franchise is also making its way to English-language readers, as Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga for a release starting this September. This adaptation aims to translate the humor of the student council-focused series to the screen following the success of a promotional video produced for the seventh volume last summer.
