Veteran manga artist Satosumi Takaguchi has launched a new series titled Diamond's Blues: Konami Tsukushi and the Seven Middle-Aged Men. The manga debuted on June 24 in Kadokawa's Comic Bridge online magazine.

The story centers on Konami Tsukushi, a college student famed for her beauty but unaware of her own allure. Her innocent nature often lands her in trouble, from which she is secretly rescued by a group of enigmatic middle-aged men residing in her apartment building.

Takaguchi is currently also writing the ongoing manga Bokura wa Mada Sora no Yume wo Mienai, which began serialization in May 2025. Previously, Takaguchi created Grandma no Yūutsu, which ran in Futabasha's JOUR magazine starting in 2016 and inspired a live-action adaptation in April 2024. The artist also has a long history with the Hana no Asuka-gumi! manga, which ran from 1985 to 1995 and spawned two original video anime adaptations.
