Distributor REMOW has unveiled plans for an 18-episode television adaptation of the Spirit Circle manga. The series is slated for a December debut, with plans for both a Japanese broadcast and a simultaneous global streaming release. This project represents the final directorial contribution from the late Tatsuo Satō, who also handled series composition for the studios NAGOMI and EOTA. Assistant director Kentaro Mizuno finalized the production, which features character designs by Satoru Fujimoto and is produced by TWIN ENGINE.
The voice cast features Kazuki Ura in the role of Fuuta Okeya, alongside Anna Nagase as Kouko Ishigami, Eri Yukimura as Rune, and Yūichi Nakamura as East. In addition to her role as Kouko, Nagase provides the ending theme, "No Matter the World." The narrative centers on Fuuta, a student with the ability to perceive spirits, whose life changes upon meeting a transfer student who claims they share a history across multiple incarnations. This discovery forces Fuuta to explore his past lives to understand their conflict.
Satoshi Mizukami authored the original manga, which appeared in the magazine Young King Ours between 2012 and 2016. The work was later collected into six volumes. This adaptation follows other recent anime projects based on Mizukami's bibliography, such as the 2022 release of The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer and the 2024 series Sengoku Youko.
