The second season of Sasaki and Peeps is officially set to return on October 7, with a new promotional trailer offering a first look at the upcoming arc. The video also previews the series' new opening theme song, 'Unbroken,' performed by the group MADKID. Alongside the premiere date, Kadokawa confirmed two new additions to the voice cast: Tasuku Hatanaka will join as Himegami-kun, and Yū Sasahara will voice Eriel.

Production shifts slightly for the new season, with Yūshi Ibe—who served as an episode and assistant director for the first season—stepping into the director's chair at studio SILVER LINK. Several other staff members are shifting roles, including Yamato Ouchi as assistant director and Yūko Shintani as the compositing director of photography. Key creative pillars remain in place, however, with Deko Akao returning for series scripts and Saori Nakashiki continuing as character designer.

Crunchyroll has confirmed it will stream the second season, continuing its role as the international home for the series. The first season, which concluded its 12-episode run earlier this year, currently holds a solid following across major databases, with AniList users rating the series at 73/100.

With the shift in the director's chair and a new technical team overseeing action and 3D sequences, the production appears to be aiming for a refreshed visual identity. It remains to be seen how these internal staff changes will impact the pacing of the adaptation compared to the first season's debut.
