Saikyou Degarashi Ouji no Anyaku Teii Arasoi has added Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and Ai Kayano to its voice cast. The anime adaptation of Tanba's light novel announced the new additions Monday, revealing Matsuoka will voice Trauggot Lakes Adler and Kayano will portray Mitsuba Lakes Adler.
The series is set to debut on July 6 at 8:57 p.m. on Tokyo MX, with a subsequent broadcast on BS Fuji on July 7. Maho Film is handling animation production, with Yuuji Yanase directing. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is on series composition, and character designs are by Kazuko Tadano. Music composition is by Akki.
The story follows Arnold Lakes Adler, the seventh prince of the Adrasia empire, who is widely considered incompetent and unlikely to inherit the throne. Despite his perceived lack of ability, Arnold secretly manipulates the succession battle from the shadows.
The light novel, which began serialization on Shousetsuka ni Narou in February 2019, is published under Kadokawa's Sneaker Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation by Yukino Amagai has also been serialized since December 2019. Both the light novel and manga are available in English via Book☆Walker Global.
