The upcoming anime adaptation of Saijakuna Boku wa "Kabenuke Bug" de Nariagaru (I, The Weakest Player, Will Rise to the Top Using a "Wall-Clipping Glitch") is officially slated for a 2027 debut. A newly unveiled teaser visual accompanies the announcement, providing the first look at the production.

The series follows Anri, a down-on-his-luck adventurer whose weak "Evasion" skill leads to his expulsion from his party. His fortunes shift dramatically when he discovers a game-breaking glitch that allows him to clip through walls, granting him the ability to farm first-time clear rewards infinitely and rapidly ascend the ranks of power.

Directing the project are Haruki Kasugamori, known for Dragon Goes House-Hunting, at studios Durandal and Tengu Kobou. The production team also features Hiroshi Hosokawa handling series composition, with character designs credited to the duo of Hiroshi Miyamoto and Sumakidori. On the voice acting front, Riko Aono has been cast as the protagonist Anri, joined by Momoka Terasawa as Elelet.

The project adapts the light novel series by Nikita Kitagawa, which originated on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform in 2021. Yui Hata’s manga adaptation has seen consistent growth since its 2022 debut, successfully transitioning from Shōnen Magazine R to the Magazine Pocket app, with its 12th volume hitting shelves earlier this summer.
