Kametsu Tomobashi announced that his light novel series, My S-Rank Adventurer Daughters Have Serious Father Complexes, is receiving a TV anime adaptation. The news was shared by the author on Saturday, accompanied by celebratory illustrations from original novel artist Tsubame Nozomi and manga artist Shunichi.
The My S-Rank Adventurer Daughters Have Serious Father Complexes franchise centers on Kaiser, a once-legendary adventurer who has since embraced fatherhood. His three daughters share an extreme adoration for him, forming the core of this family fantasy narrative.
Tomobashi originally published the novels on the Shōsetsu ni Narō platform starting in 2019. The series has since spawned a manga adaptation by Shunichi, which began serialization on Overlap's Comic Gardo in May 2020. As of November 2025, the manga has reached 11 compiled volumes, with a 12th volume slated for release in July. The novel series has also seen continued publication, with its seventh volume shipping in March 2025. Across its various formats, the franchise boasts over 1.6 million copies in circulation, including digital editions.
