The production team behind the Romelia Senki television anime has unveiled its supporting cast, adding three prominent voice actors to the project. Mika Kanda, recognized for her role in Migi to Dali, will portray Kairo. She is joined by Kenji Hamada as Zaria and Youji Ueda as Farmaine. These performers will work under the direction of Kouji Saitou at studio Atra, which is also utilizing a script and series composition by Aya Satsuki.
Broadcasting plans for the fantasy series are now set for a two-cour run. The show will premiere on Japanese television networks including Tokyo MX, BS11, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto on October 5. Digital viewers will have access to the series slightly earlier, with streaming scheduled to begin on October 3 at 9:00 p.m. via Anime Times, U-NEXT, and Netflix.
The series adapts the action fantasy light novels written by Ryou Ariyama, which have been published by Shogakukan since 2020. Beyond the source material, the franchise includes a manga adaptation by Ryou Kamito, currently being localized for English-speaking markets by Seven Seas Entertainment. With the anime confirmed for a two-cour duration, the production has ample time to explore the narrative established across the light novel's six volumes, though the specific story arcs slated for this adaptation remain to be seen.
