Following the conclusion of "The Loss Arc," which kicked off the fourth season this past April, the series is set to return with fresh intensity on August 12.
This latest installment expands the cast with two notable additions: Fairouz Ai joins the ensemble as Shaula, while Tomokazu Sugita steps into the role of the legendary Reid Astrea. The season is structured across 19 episodes, with the production team—including director Masahiro Shinohara and composer Kenichiro Suehiro—returning to maintain the series' signature atmosphere under the banner of studio WHITE FOX.
Musical contributions for this arc remain a high-profile affair. The opening theme, "Recollect," features a collaboration between Konomi Suzuki and rapper Ashnikko, produced by Giga and TeddyLoid. Meanwhile, the ending theme, "Ender Ember," is performed by the duo MYTH&ROID alongside TK from Ling Tosite Sigure.
