Konami Digital Entertainment showcased a fresh look at its upcoming title Rev. Noir during the latest Sony State of Play livestream. The second trailer provides a deeper dive into the game's combat systems and sets the stage for its central conflict, which revolves around a mysterious, lethal phenomenon known as "lightfall."

Producer Nobuki Kadoi emphasized that the development team is prioritizing classic JRPG pillars, specifically focusing on character growth, the formation of a party, and emotionally resonant storytelling. The narrative follows a protagonist suffering from amnesia who teams up with a young girl to challenge the world-ending threat, questioning whether their path is dictated by divine intervention or human willpower.

Currently, the title is confirmed exclusively for the PlayStation 5. While the trailer offers a glimpse into the game's world-building and mechanics, Konami has yet to announce a specific release window, leaving the final scope of this project as an open question for prospective players.
