North American distributors have announced a slate of anime and manga licenses for home video release during the third quarter of 2026, spanning July through September. This compilation includes acquisitions for upcoming Summer 2026 anime titles that were secured prior to the quarter's start.
Notable anime acquisitions include GKIDS licensing the film Cocoon: Aru Natsu no Shoujo-tachi yori (also known as Cocoon – One Summer of Girlhood). Sentai Filmworks has secured the rights for Hell Mode: Yarikomizuki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou suru 2nd Season (Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing Season 2) and Suterare Seijo no Isekai Gohan Tabi: Kakure Skill de Camping Car wo Shoukan shimashita (The Forsaken Saintess and her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World). Sentai also acquired World Is Dancing.
Manga licenses span several publishers, including Viz Media, which picked up Kimi no Kao de Boku ni Kiss shite (Kiss Me with Your Face), marked for digital release. Bubbles will release Shin National Kid (New National Kid). Crossed Hearts announced five titles, including Rouchou (The Bird in the Cage Dreams) and Bokutachi ga Koi ni Naru Made (Until We Fall in Love).
Further manga acquisitions come from emaqi, which listed titles like Asagiri no Miko (Shrine of the Morning Mist) and Aru Hi, Damin wo Musabotteitara Ichizoku kara Tsuihousarete Mori ni Suteraremashita... (I Was Banished from My Clan for Sleeping Too Much...) with digital releases noted. K Manga has licensed Protocol Ryugu and Yata Miran to Seishun ni Joutou!! (Give 'Em Hell, Miran Yata!!). Kana will release Hotel Astrology, while Kodama Tales has licensed five titles including Crows and Cyber Blue.
