During its panel at Anime NYC, publisher Publang revealed a fresh expansion to its catalog, announcing five new titles spanning both the manhwa and web novel mediums. The publisher is doubling down on its strategy of licensing both the original source novels and their corresponding manhwa adaptations, a move designed to offer fans a complete experience of these popular BL stories.

Leading the new print lineup are the first two volumes of the manhwa adaptations for Define the Relationship, The Hunter's Gonna Lay Low, and PASSION. The publisher also confirmed digital plans for the original source material, with the web novel version of The Hunter's Gonna Lay Low and the web novel Healer both slated for web serialization. These acquisitions join a growing list of titles, including Payback, that utilize the publisher's "Art of Localization" editorial philosophy, which emphasizes maintaining original cultural markers and authorial intent.

These upcoming releases build on Publang’s transition from a translation agency to a dedicated publisher. While specific release dates remain to be confirmed, the announcement highlights the company's commitment to bridging the gap between Korean web literature and the English-speaking market. By securing both the visual adaptations and the original novels, the publisher continues to cater to readers looking for high-fidelity translations of established genre favorites.
