Capcom has bridged the gap between its long-running action franchise and its newer sci-fi title through a series of collaborative posts on social media. The official accounts for Pragmata and Mega Man engaged in a playful dialogue, featuring original illustrations of Pragmata protagonists Diana and Hugh dressed as Mega Man and Roll. The exchange culminated in an action-oriented piece showcasing the characters together, highlighting the aesthetic crossover between the two properties.
Beyond the social media banter, Capcom confirmed that this collaboration will manifest in-game. Players can look forward to DLC for Pragmata arriving later this year that introduces these specific Mega Man and Roll-themed skins for the main characters. This integration offers a rare visual blend of the game's dystopian lunar setting and the classic, vibrant art style of the Mega Man series.
Pragmata is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, following its release this past April. While the title faced several delays since its initial 2020 announcement, it currently serves as a showcase for Capcom’s implementation of ray-tracing and next-generation hardware features. Meanwhile, the Mega Man franchise continues to expand, with Mega Man: Dual Override representing the latest entry in the decades-old series that first debuted on the NES in 1987.
