The next chapter of Pokémon Horizons, dubbed the 'Wonder Voyage' arc, is set to premiere on May 22, bringing with it a new character and fresh theme songs. A newly revealed visual showcases Navi, a girl from Lumiose City who encounters a Ditto from an airship, alongside imagery hinting at connections to spin-off titles like Pokémon Go, Pokémon Unite, and Pokémon Sleep.
The series' protagonists, Liko and Roy, voiced by Minori Suzuki and Yuka Terasaki respectively, will perform the new opening theme, 'Sekai Tsunagare,' produced by HoneyWorks. Additionally, the group CUTIE STREET will perform the new ending theme, 'Cute na Kyūtai.' CD jacket art for the ending theme features the members of CUTIE STREET reimagined as Pikachu.
This new arc follows previous segments that have explored locations and characters from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games, including Blueberry Academy and the Kitakami region. The Pokémon Horizons anime, which features dual new protagonists Liko and Roy, premiered in April 2023 and has been airing new episodes weekly in Japan. The series is also available internationally on Netflix, with its second season, 'The Search for Laqua,' having debuted in February 2025.
