Atlus has released a narrative-focused trailer for Persona 4 Revival, the upcoming remake of the 2008 genre-defining RPG. The footage provides a fresh look at the mystery surrounding the rural town of Inaba and the Midnight Channel, confirming that the remake will feature entirely new animated cutscenes produced by MAPPA.
Alongside the visual overhaul, Atlus confirmed that the project will utilize a new English voice cast. This remake brings the classic title to modern hardware, with a launch scheduled for February 18, 2027, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Xbox Game Pass.
This project follows the successful 2024 release of Persona 3 Reload, which modernized the earlier title for current consoles. The original Persona 4 remains a pillar of the franchise, having spawned numerous spin-offs including the Persona 4 Arena fighting series and the rhythm title Persona 4: Dancing All Night. Pre-orders for the new iteration are currently open.
