Persona 4 Revival, a full remake of Atlus' original 2008 RPG, has been announced for a February 18, 2027 release. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Xbox Game Pass, and Steam. Pre-orders for the title are now live.
The announcement came during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, where Atlus also shared trailers for the upcoming remake in both English and Japanese. The original Persona 4 first released on PlayStation 2, later receiving a port as Persona 4 Golden on PlayStation Vita. The franchise has spawned numerous spin-offs, including fighting games like Persona 4 Arena and its sequel Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, as well as the rhythm game Persona 4: Dancing All Night.
This remake follows Atlus' recent successful revival of another entry in the series, Persona 3 Reload, which launched in February 2024 for a wide range of platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Persona series continues to be a major draw, with titles like Persona 5 and its enhanced version Persona 5 Royal also receiving significant attention and multiple releases across various consoles.
