Ryuugeshou no Shinobi (Jurassic Shadows), a new original anime project, was announced by Avex Pictures during their panel at Anime Expo 2026. The announcement came with a concept visual and a promotional video, offering the first look at the series.
The directorial duties will be handled by Norihiro Naganuma, known for his work on Mahoutsukai no Yome. Kenta Ihara, who penned the script for Isekai Ojisan, is writing the series. The original character designs are by Youichi Amano, with Yukiko Nakatani adapting them for animation. Nakatani previously worked on Kusuriya no Hitorigoto.
Further staff details include Misato Aida for color design, Yuusuke Takeda as art director, and Makoto Honda as 3DCG director. Shouji Hata will serve as sound director, and Shuuhei Mutsuki is composing the music. The project is being planned and produced by Slow Curve and Avex Pictures, with animation by studio Cannon Code.
