To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Universal Studios Japan is launching a unique crossover merchandise line that blends anime icons with classic Hollywood cinema. The collaboration features One Piece protagonist Monkey D. Luffy encountering a T-Rex in a nod to the park's Jurassic Park attraction, while Detective Conan's Conan Edogawa and Dr. Agasa recreate the legendary Back to the Future poster.
The collection spans a variety of goods, with the One Piece line offering shirts, water bottles, and tote bags. Fans of the long-running mystery series can look forward to a Detective Conan set that includes shirts, mugs, and a specialized figure collection. These items are scheduled to hit the shelves at the park's Studio Style store beginning September 9.
Series creators Eiichiro Oda and GΕshΕ Aoyama have both issued statements honoring the milestone. Oda highlighted his appreciation for the parkβs long-standing One Piece Premier live show, while Aoyama shared his enthusiasm for the creative mash-up between his characters and the Back to the Future franchise. While the official pricing remains under wraps, these limited-edition items serve as the centerpiece for the park's anniversary festivities.
