Digital manga publisher Omoi has announced four new acquisitions and expanded its publishing reach through new partnerships with Red String Manga and Square Enix Manga. The news broke during the company's panel at Anime Expo.
Among the newly licensed titles is Walking Home with You by Mai Matsuda, slated for a Summer release. The story follows Shun, a high school student who lost his passion for soccer after an injury. His life takes a turn when he joins an eccentric upperclassman's "Hyper-Epic Heading Home Club," dedicated to making everyday walks an adventure. The series explores Shun's journey to find color in his life again through these escapades.
Omoi's expanded partnerships aim to broaden its catalogue, bringing more diverse titles to its digital platform. Further details on the other three licensed titles and the full scope of the new collaborations are expected to be revealed soon.
