The television adaptation of Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! is officially joining the fall lineup. Following the debut of an English-subtitled trailer from Aniplex USA, it is confirmed that the series will begin streaming on OceanVeil this Saturday, October 3. The show will also see a simultaneous broadcast in Japan across networks including Tokyo MX and BS11.

Studio Passione is handling the production, with Naoyuki Tatsuwa taking the director's chair. The creative team features character designs by Ryo Imamura and series composition by Masahiro Yokotani, whose recent credits include the hit series Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!. The voice cast is anchored by Shōgo Sakata as the beleaguered student council member Mizunoe Ume, joined by Haruka Shiraishi as Hisako Kotobuki.

Muchimaro’s original four-panel manga, which secured a win at the 2023 Next Manga Awards, follows the chaotic daily life of a student council populated by an endearingly strange group of peers. With Seven Seas handling the physical English release and K MANGA providing digital access, the franchise has built a steady following since its 2022 debut. The transition from a short-form gag manga to a full television series presents a unique challenge for the studio, making the pacing of these character-driven vignettes the key element to watch as the season unfolds.
