The streaming platform OceanVeil has confirmed it is bringing English-language dubs to two notable titles from the ComicFesta Anime catalog: Overflow and Love from Above (Joshiochi!). While a specific release date for the Overflow dub is pending, viewers can expect the Love from Above dub to arrive on the platform on August 8 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
Overflow, which adapts Kaiduka’s manga, centers on college student Kazushi, whose life is turned upside down when his childhood friends—sisters Ayane and Kotone—find themselves in a cramped, unexpected situation in his apartment. The English cast is led by Ryan Hoyle as Kazushi, Elizabeth Ryan as Ayane, and Mana T. Johnson as Kotone. The production team is headed by ADR director Chloe Eves and executive producer Jonathan Hinga.
Love from Above follows the chaotic life of Sosuke, a man living in a crumbling apartment whose quiet existence is shattered when his neighbor, Sunao, literally falls through his ceiling. The dub features Ty Wilkins as Sosuke, Jingle Deleon as Sunao, and Carter Wescott as Yuki. Like Overflow, this project utilizes a team overseen by Hinga and Eves, with adaptation work by Robyn McConnell.
Both series were originally produced as part of the ComicFesta Anime initiative, which typically releases two versions of its programming: a standard television edit and an explicit "complete version" for streaming. OceanVeil’s expansion into these dubs follows the platform's ongoing efforts to localize niche adult-oriented anime for its subscribers.
