OceanVeil has announced a trio of anime titles arriving on its service in May. The streaming platform will add the Doukyusei -Classmates- anime film, both seasons of Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai (often shortened to Oreimo), and the Eromanga Sensei anime.
The boys-love film Doukyusei -Classmates-, adapted from Asumiko Nakamura's manga and animated by A-1 Pictures, will be available starting May 1st at 3:00 p.m. PDT. The movie, which follows honor student Rihito Sajou and rock band enthusiast Hikaru Kusakabe as they prepare for a chorus festival, previously screened in Japanese theaters in February 2016 and received an American theatrical release in May 2016. The film is highly regarded, holding a score of 8.27 on MyAnimeList from over 158,000 voters.
Alongside the Doukyusei film, OceanVeil is also adding two popular light novel adaptations. The Oreimo series, which centers on a high school boy discovering his younger sister's secret otaku hobby, and Eromanga Sensei, focusing on a light novel author and his younger stepsister who secretly illustrates his work, will also join the platform's catalog this May, though specific release dates for these series were not provided.
