North American fans can expect a significant influx of new anime and manga content during the week of May 17-23. Several anime Blu-ray editions are scheduled for release, including MAOYU from Sentai Filmworks and Naruto Shippūden Set 10 from Viz Media. Sony Pictures is also releasing Scarlet on Blu-ray and as a SteelBook 4K UHD edition.
The print manga landscape is particularly robust, with dozens of new volumes hitting shelves. GN 10 and How I Met My Soulmate GN 7. Seven Seas is also contributing a large number of new volumes, including 2.5 Dimensional Seduction Graphic Novel (GN) 18 and The Demon King is Way Too Overprotective! GN 3.
Digital manga readers will also find a comprehensive selection, mirroring many of the print releases. These digital versions offer a more budget-friendly option for many titles, including Battle Royale: Enforcers GN 5, The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses GN 21, and Medaka Kuroiwa is Impervious to My Charms GN 21. Publishers like Tokyopop and J-Novel Club are also represented in the digital offerings.
