Norn9 has arrived on HIDIVE, offering its complete 12-episode run with both English dub and subtitles. The series, animated by Kinema Citrus and Orange, blends sci-fi elements with romance and an ensemble cast.
The story follows Sorata Suzuhara, a boy who finds himself transported to a mysterious past and encounters nine individuals with special abilities aboard a ship called Norn. As they journey, they unravel secrets about their world and their own powers, all while navigating complex relationships.
Produced during the Winter 2016 season, Norn9 adapts the josei manga of the same name. The dual studios brought a mix of traditional animation and CG, with Orange known for their CG work on shows like Land of the Lustrous and Kinema Citrus for titles such as The Rising of the Shield Hero.
