The post-apocalyptic manga Nippon Sangoku is set to receive an anime adaptation from Studio Kafka, with a Spring 2026 premiere planned for Amazon Prime Video. The series envisions a near-future Japan shattered by nuclear war, natural disasters, and revolution, leaving the country divided into three warring superpowers locked in a brutal fight for survival and control.
Studio Kafka, known for their work on The God of High School, will animate the drama, which is produced by Twin Engine. The adaptation promises a grim depiction of a nation's collapse and the desperate struggle for dominance in a world stripped of diplomacy and resources.
