The production team for Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden has revealed four additional voice actors joining the cast for the upcoming anime adaptation. Saeko Kamijō will voice Essera Blanket, the personal maid to the Silver family's youngest daughter. The Silver family sisters will be portrayed by Hitomi Ueda as Raffine, Azusa Tadokoro as Riculvitar, and Ayaka Ōhashi as Lilimi.
These additions round out a large ensemble cast led by Honoka Inoue, who stars as the titular Nia Liston. The series, which follows a legendary hero reincarnated into the body of a frail young girl, is scheduled to premiere on October 6. Viewers in Japan can catch the broadcast on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and MBS, with international audiences able to stream the series via HIDIVE as it airs.
While the anime is based on Umikaze Minamino's light novel series, it also draws from the ongoing manga adaptation illustrated by Kabuto Kodai. The project is confirmed for a two-cour run, giving the production ample time to adapt the reincarnation-fantasy narrative. With the 12th volume of the light novels arriving in early October and the ninth volume of the manga following shortly after, the anime serves as a major expansion for the franchise's reach this fall.
