Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden has bolstered its voice cast with three new additions just weeks before its fall 2026 debut. The production confirmed that Taku Yashiro will voice Anzel, Yōko Hikasa joins as Fressa, and Satoshi Hino steps into the role of Gandolf Rogen. These actors join a lead cast that includes Honoka Inoue as the titular Nia Liston, Fūka Izumi, Rina Honnizumi, and Rina Hidaka.

Directed by Motoki Nakanishi at KONAMI animation, the series is set to premiere on October 6, with broadcasts scheduled on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and MBS. International viewers can catch the action on HIDIVE, which will stream the series as it airs in Japan. For those eager to get an early look, an advance screening of the first three episodes is scheduled for September 22 at the esports TOKYO BAY studio.

The series, which blends the high-stakes intensity of a reincarnated hero with the constraints of a frail, noble body, is based on the light novel series by Umikaze Minamino. While the anime adaptation is the latest iteration of the franchise, fans of the source material can also follow the ongoing manga adaptation currently published in English via Square Enix's Manga UP! Global service. With the production team incorporating character designs from both Jishaku and Katana Canata, the show aims to capture the distinct aesthetic of the original novels.
