The production team for Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden has expanded its voice cast, announcing two new additions ahead of the series' October 6 premiere. Tomoyo Takayanagi will voice Neil Liston, the brother of the titular protagonist, while Yūki Urushiyama joins the cast as Lynette Blanc, Neil’s dedicated maid and guard. The announcement also featured the debut of a second "situation visual" for the project.

Directed by Motoki Nakanishi at KONAMI animation, the series is set for a substantial two-cour run. The story follows a legendary hero who, upon dying without ever meeting her match, is reincarnated into the frail body of Nia Liston. Determined to return to her former glory, she navigates a new life defined by her desire for battle. The anime will be available to international viewers via HIDIVE, with domestic broadcasts scheduled across Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and MBS.

While the anime adaptation is based on Umikaze Minamino’s light novel series, the project also draws from the ongoing manga adaptation by Kabuto Kodai. With the 12th volume of the light novels arriving in October and the ninth volume of the manga following shortly after, the franchise maintains a steady release cadence across both formats. As the series prepares to hit the airwaves, the advance screening of the first three episodes on September 22 will provide an early look at how the studio translates the reincarnation-fantasy premise to the screen.
