Crunchyroll and Hulu have expanded their catalogs with a wave of vintage and niche titles, providing access to several long-out-of-print series.
Eat-Man arrives on Crunchyroll, following the exploits of Bolt Crank, a mercenary with the bizarre ability to consume and manifest metal objects. Also on Crunchyroll is Straight Title Robot Anime, a unique, minimalist 3D comedy set in a post-human future. Cosmo Warrior Zero - Hunt for Young Harlock joins the service as well, offering a deep-space conflict between a grieving captain and the iconic space rebel Harlock.
Crunchyroll’s additions continue with Baldr Force Exe Resolution, a cyberpunk thriller set within a high-stakes digital network, and Bakumatsu Gijinden Roman, a historical adventure set during the chaotic twilight of the Edo period. Rounding out the Crunchyroll batch are Demon Lord Dante, a supernatural horror series based on Go Nagai’s classic manga, and the sci-fi action title Casshan: Robot Hunter.
Hulu has also updated its library with two notable series. Di Gi Charat Nyo brings the fan-favorite mascot character back to Earth for her training arc, while Galaxy Angel Rune introduces a fresh squad of Angels tasked with recovering ancient lost technology.
